Oahu Rental Market Overview
In August, rental volume decreased month-over-month and year-over-year. There was no change in median price in August compared to both time periods. Properties rented one day faster, on average, in August than in July, and in the same amount of time as in last August. As of 9/24, there are 674 properties available for long-term rent on Oahu, up 8.3% from last month.
The number of luxury rentals decreased from July, ending their upward trend since last November. However, rental volume was up 25% from last August. There was no change in median price compared to both time periods. Luxury properties rented several days slower than last year but one day faster than in July. As of 9/24, there are 187 luxury properties currently available for long-term rent on Oahu, up 2.7% from August..
