Oahu Rental Market Overview
In April, the number of properties rented on Oahu decreased both year-over-year and month-over-month. Median price in April was up compared both time periods. Properties rented at about the same speed and received about the same ratio of rental price to asking price. As of 5/27, there properties currently available for long-term rent on Oahu, down 2.5% from March.
The number of luxury rentals increased in April, up over 14% from last April, reaching one of the highest monthly rental volumes in our data. Median price increased compared to both time periods. Luxury properties rented a few days slower than last April but a couple days faster than April 2025. As of 5/27, there are 160 luxury properties currently available for long-term rent on Oahu, up 1.9% from March.
